MONIQUE GUILLORY

Monique Guillory, a native New Orleanian who has served as interim president of Dillard University, has been named the ninth president of the 155-year-old historicallyDr. Monique GuilloryDr. Monique Guillory Black university.

Guillory served as Dillard’s provost and chief academic officer. Guillory graduated from St. Mary’s Academy and Tulane University and has a doctorate degree from New York University. She has held roles at Jackson State University, University of the Virgin Islands, Xavier University, Southern University system and the Morehouse School of Medicine. Most recently she was chief of staff at the University of District of Columbia.
