Annette Hux

Dr. Annette HuxDr. Annette HuxAnnette Hux has been named dean of the College of Education and Behavioral Science (COEBS) at Arkansas State University.  

Hux, who joined A-State's faculty in 2011, was appointed interim dean of the college last June.

COEBS has achieved major milestones during Hux’s interim appointment, including substantial growth in enrollment in the college’s bachelor's degree programs

Before starting her career at A-State, Hux served in a myriad of roles for which current A-State students are preparing themselves, including special education teacher, principal and superintendent.  

She received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Southwest Baptist University, master’s degree in elementary administration with certification in special education administration from Southeast Missouri State University, and a Doctor of Education degree in educational leadership in higher education from St. Louis University.
