Dr. Dawn Person, California State University, Fullerton

CalState Professor Emeritus Dr. Dawn Person is an advocate for improving educational leadership and student achievement. Person is director of the Center for Research on Educational Access and Leadership, a solution-focused, data-driven research center that serves community partners in greater Los Angeles and associates internationally. She consults colleges and universities on program evaluation, student retention, organizational change, and multicultural issues, tapping into her experiences as a counselor, advisor, and administrator in student affairs. Person has coordinated programs and services supporting students of color, international students, first-year students, and student athletes, and she remains active in professional associations like the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators and the American College Personnel Association.
