Dr. Rae Matsumoto, University of Hawaiʻi, Hilo

Before becoming the dean of the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy at the University of Hawai’i, Hilo, Dr. Rae Matsumoto served as a professor of physiology and pharmacology at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. She held various administrative and faculty positions prior to accumulating vast educational program development experience in faculty mentoring, staff development, student success and career development, and budgetary and fiscal management. She is the lead author or co-author of over 100 publications, a member of national and international professional organizations, and inventor of multiple patents.
