Dr. Joanne Li, University of Nebraska at Omaha

Dr. Joanne Li served as the dean of the Florida International University College of Business before her appointment to chancellor of University of Nebraska at Omaha. The college’s graduation rate rose, from 29% to 70%, under Li’s leadership. She served as dean of finance at the Raj Soin College of Business at Wright State University in Fairborn, Ohio, and chair of the Department of Finance at Towson University. Li is a Chartered Financial Analyst with other professional memberships on the CNBC Financial Wellness Council, the Council of Chinese American Deans and Presidents, the European Foundation for Management Development Global Network Americas Advisory Board, and the Women in Business Education-A Global Community to Champion Women in Business Academia.
