Berea College to Celebrate the Life and Legacy of bell hooks

Berea College will host a tribute to Dr. bell hooks, the feminist scholar who served many years as a distinguished professor in residence in Appalachian studies. hooks died in December.

The tribute, will be hosted in-person and online at the Berea College Phelps Stokes Chapel on April 14 at 2:00 P.M.

hooks’s family, friends, and those at Berea College who knew and worked with her are expected to speak.
