Rachelle HernandezRebecca Hernandez has been named the inaugural community archivist at the University of California, Santa Cruz. For the past seven years, Hernandez has served as director of the American Indian Resource Center at the university. She holds a master’s degree in American Indian studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, a master of fine arts degree in exhibition design from California State University, Fullerton, and a Ph.D. in American studies from the University of New Mexico.
