Leah VanweyLeah VanweyLeah Vanwey has been appointed dean of the faculty at Brown University, effective July 1. A professor of environment and society, and sociology, VanWey has served as dean of the School of Professional Studies since 2019. She earned her bachelor's degree and Ph.D. in sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
