Ray JayawardhanaRay JayawardhanaRay Jayawardhana has been appointed to a second five-year term as the Harold Tanner Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell University, beginning July 1, 2023. Jayawardhana was also named the Hans A. Bethe Professor. He earned a Ph.D. in astronomy from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in astronomy and physics from Yale University.
