Dr. Jamie ParsonJamie Parson has been appointed interim chief diversity officer at Appalachian State University. Parson served as an associate professor in the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance at Appalachian State. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology-anthropology from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a juris doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law in Lincoln, Neb.
