Wafaa El-Sadr has been named executive vice president for Columbia Global Centers. El-Sadr is the university professor of epidemiology and medicine and the Dr. Mathilde Krim-amfAR Chair of Global Health at Columbia University in New York City. She earned her medical degree at Cairo University in Egypt, a master of public health degree from Columbia University, and an MPA from Harvard University.
