Dr. Suri Duitch
A two-time CUNY alumna, Duitch worked for a decade in CUNY’s Office of Academic Affairs. In 2003, she helped found CUNY’s School of Professional Studies, the University’s premier school for adult learners. She also oversaw programs with an annual enrollment of 50,000 students, which significantly improved employment outcomes, and launched the CUNY Service Corps, a paid experiential learning program addressing the needs of New York City communities. Duitch spent seven years as dean and vice president for academic innovation at the Tulane University School of Professional Advancement before returning to CUNY with her appointment at Kingsborough.
Duitch received her MSW from the Hunter College School of Social Work and Ph.D. in Urban Education from the CUNY Graduate Center. She holds a B.A. from Columbia University.
