EILEEN O’CONNOR has been appointed vice president for communication at Yale University. She was deputy assistant secretary of state for South and Central Asia. O’Connor holds a bachelor’s and a juris doctor from Georgetown University, and a postgraduate diploma from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

JESSICA CHEN WEISS has been named an associate professor of government at Cornell University. She was an assistant professor of political science at Yale University. Chen Weiss earned a bachelor’s from Stanford University and a doctorate from the University of California, San Diego.
