Dr. Estella Atekwana Appointed Dean of College of Letters and Science at UC Davis

Dr. Estella Atekwana has been appointed University of California, Davis dean of the College of Letters and Science, effective Aug. 1.

Dr. Estella Atekwana

Atekwana was a faculty member in the Department of Earth Sciences and dean of the College of Earth, Ocean and Environment at University of Delaware.

Atekwana holds a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in geology from Howard University and a Ph.D. in geophysics from Dalhousie University.

Atekwana is an adjunct faculty member at Oklahoma State University and member of the governing board of Botswana International University of Science and Technology.
