Dr. Estella Atekwana has been appointed University of California, Davis dean of the College of Letters and Science, effective Aug. 1.
Dr. Estella AtekwanaAtekwana was a faculty member in the Department of Earth Sciences and dean of the College of Earth, Ocean and Environment at University of Delaware.
Atekwana holds a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in geology from Howard University and a Ph.D. in geophysics from Dalhousie University.
Atekwana is an adjunct faculty member at Oklahoma State University and member of the governing board of Botswana International University of Science and Technology.
